Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Title against Cope (Adam Copeland) at AEW Revolution.
Moxley agreed to the match on the February 12th episode of AEW Dynamite after Cope and Jay White stole the briefcase containing the AEW World Championship.
Cope threatened to break open the briefcase with Spike (a spiked 2x4) and reveal the AEW World Title, but Moxley agreed to the match. Moxley said he cared about the title and he was going to show everyone how much he cared by breaking Cope's neck at AEW Revolution.
The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, & Marina Shafir) attacked Cope and White, and managed to get the briefcase back, but Cope and White stood tall.
