Live Coverage

* Max Caster open challenge: Adam Page def. Max Caster

- Ricochet cuts a promo on beating Swerve Strickland

* AEW Trios Championships: The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta, PAC, & Claudio Castagnoli) def. The Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, & Roderick Strong)

- Wheeler pinned Kyle after a low blow. The Death Riders continued to try to attack Adam Cole and company. Daniel Garcia, Daddy Magic, and Angelo Parker made the save.

- Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir walk backstage when Cope and Jay White suddenly blindside them. Cope and Switchblade steal MOX's briefcase carrying the AEW World Title. MOX recovers and starts to freak out.

- Renee Paquette is backstage interviewing MJF. Hangman Page interrupts. MJF makes fun of his drinking problem, but Page asks him to hit him with something a little more complex, so Max says Page is not as twisted as he pretends to be; he doesn't have the stomach to do what he's been doing, and he knows it. Max says it makes him sick that the people cheer for Hangman and that they owe him an apology for the disrespect they've been showing him. Page seems to be legitimately bothered by Max's words.

* Samoa Joe, HOOK & Katsuyori Shibata defeated Aaron Solo, Jon Cruz & Rosario Grillo

- Joe cuts a promo. His crew is named "The Opps," they challenge Christian Cage's Patriarchy to a match for next week.

- Renee Paquette and Chris Jericho discuss Bryan Keith's recent failed attempt to collect the bounty on Bandido. Jericho wants to handle the situation in a "Showdown" right now. Keith threatens Paquette not to embarrass him again.

- MOX and Marina run roughshod backstage. Marina chokes out Willow Nightingale as Rene Paquette is interviewing her. MOX says Cope is a dead man.

- Chris Jericho and Bandido come to the ring for a showdown. The lights dim, both men take five paces... and Bryan Keith jumps Bandido. Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum run out to save the day. Chris Jericho then calls in Big Bill, who arrives on the scene to finish the job, but Powerhouse Hobbs comes out and lays out his rival instead.

- Cope and Jay White cut a promo. They tell Moxley to meet them in the ring by the night's end if he wants the briefcase back. Cope makes jokes about having held briefcases like this in the past.

- Dustin Rhodes hypes his match with an interview with Renee Paquette.

* MJF def. Dustin Rhodes

- MJF continue to attack Dustin after the match. Hangman Page ran down to make the save. This led to both men brawling throughout the arena. Officials briefly separated them, and then Max got on the microphone and bragged about being ready to go while Page had already been taken to the back. As Max gloated, Hanger ran back down, and they brawled until they were separated again.

- A vignette plays, hyping Will Ospreay & Kenny Omega vs. Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita this Saturday.

* Megan Bayne def. Maya World

- As Megan Bayne exits, Kris Statlander enters, and they have a brief stare-down.

* Kris Statlander def. Penelope Ford

- Megan Bayne comes back out and attacks Statlander after the match.

- A Harley Cameron vignette features Mercedes Muppet. It starts as a smooth rap song. However, midway through, Harley cuts a sincere promo about being inspired by Mercedes, knowing she's out-matched, and being prepared to do her best on Saturday to win the TBS Championship in Australia.

* AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) (c) def. The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn)

- Lance Archer and Brian Cage come out to confront the champions afterward.

- Mariah May cuts a promo backstage. She says that she really does love Toni Storm and promises to give her a mercy killing on Saturday in Australia.

- Cope and Jay White come to the ring. Cope brings back Spike, a spiked wooden board he used to defeat Christian Cage last year. He teased using it to open the briefcase holding the championship. MOX agrees to give him the title shot at AEW Revolution. Cope smashes the case. The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta, PAC, & Claudio Castagnoli) come out and try to get the best of the faces, but Cope and White stand tall. Still, Marina was able to scurry and grabbed the beaten-up briefcase. White said they'd put them in the ground in Australia on Saturday.
