Hikaru Shida is back in AEW.
The former AEW Women's World Champion made her return to the company on the May 3 episode of Dynamite. Shida ran down to the ring after Saraya's bout with Willow Nightingale.
At first, Shida seemingly aligned with The Outcasts (Saraya, Ruby Soho, & Toni Storm), but at the last second, Shida instead aligned with Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter as the three women attacked The Outcasts.

Shida last wrestled for AEW on the January 2 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, which was taped on December 28.
Both Shida and Baker have been members of AEW's Women's Division since the inception of All Elite Wrestling. Together, the two have feuded on numerous occasions throughout the years. Baker famously won her first ever AEW Women's World Championship from Shida at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view in May 2021.
