Hulk Hogan says he hopes WWE welcomes him back.
Over the past few months, Hulk Hogan's status with WWE has been the topic of rumors surrounding his involvement with the HBO Andre the Giant documentary and reports of WWE considering him for a backstage role after his speech at the Boys and Girls Club Hall of Fame.
In an interview with Buffalo News, Hogan said there's no reason to speculate before he is actually back under WWE contract.
"Until you hit a home run, it’s not a home run. All these things say it’s imminent or rumors, that’s like saying ‘maybe, possibly, could be.’ Until I’m back home with the WWE, I’m not home. Hopefully some day I can go back home and be with my family, the wrestlers and all the people I love. I just really, really hope it happens," said Hogan.
Also in the interview, Hogan talked about his racial tirade which resulted in his firing from WWE and characterized it as a "few misspoken words."
