Sting had his last match at AEW Revolution 2024, retiring after teaming with Darby Allin to defeat The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson).
Sting continues to do conventions and shows up in his traditional facepaint and gear.
2025 will be the last chance for fans to see Sting in full gear as he took to social media to say, "I have enjoyed meeting fans at events around the world. As much as I have loved interacting with you all in the traditional Stinger war paint, I’ve decided that 2025 will be my last year appearing in full gear. I guess it’s 2025 or never. Wow. Tough to speak that out."

Sting appeared at AEW All In 2024 and AEW All In Countdown to Sale event in Texas.
He continues to make appearances at various wrestling conventions.
