The finish saw Benjamin hit a corner knee followed by Lashley hitting a spear on both members of the Outrunners.

This marked the second title defense of the AEW Tag Team Titles for the Hurt Syndicate. They wo the titles from Private Party (Quen & Zay) on the January 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite.

The Outrunners earned their AEW Tag Team Title shot by defeating the Murder Machines (Brian Cage & Lance Archer) on the February 26th episode of AEW Dynamite.
