Ikemen Jiro Released By WWE

Ikemen Jiro part of WWE releases.

Fightful has confirmed that WWE has released Ikemen Jiro. He last wrestled on the September 8 episode of NXT Level Up and taped a NXT Level Up dark match on September 12.

He has not publicly commented on his release.

Jiro was signed by WWE in 2020 after spending six years in Wrestle-1. He made his television debut on the May 7, 2021 episode of 205 Live teaming with August Grey to defeat Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari. He would remain part of the NXT brand throughout his time in WWE and was part of the 2021 NXT Breakout Tournament.

He teamed with Kushida as Jacket Time in the 2022 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
