IMPACT goes home for its twentieth anniversary
IMPACT Wrestling, which started as NWA: Total Nonstop Action and eventually became TNA Wrestling, is 20 years old this year, and for its 20th anniversary, or Slammiversary, IMPACT Wrestling is returning to the place where it all began, Nashville, Tennessee.
IMPACT Wrestling announced during the Rebellion 2022 pay-per-view event that the next time it would be on traditional pay-per-view is Sunday, June 19, 2022, for Slammiversary 2022. For the last two years, Slammiversary has been built around the potential appearance of names released by WWE. This year, the first vignette for the show center around the history of the promotion and the city of Nashville.
