Kaitlyn recalls a nixed storyline where she would turn heel and join The Divas of Doom.
As a tag team, the WWE Divas Of Doom were made up of Natalya and Beth Phoenix, beginning to team together in 2010, even having a memorable feud with LayCool. At one point, WWE would tape a segment where Kaitlyn would turn heel and align with Natalya and Phoenix, but the segment would never make it to air, with the storyline being nixed.
While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm in a new interview, Kaitlyn was asked about the nixed segment, expressing that 'maybe Vince didn't like it', or that it was possibly cut for time.
"I forget about this sometimes, but the Divas of Doom never actually actually became anything. It was like a cool idea between Nattie and Beth, and I was in a super in-between phase of my career at that time. So I was just trying to figure out who I was and where I fit. So, yeah, we had a whole match and a heel turn and a whole thing that was supposed to start like a new era, a new idea, a new storyline. It just, I think that maybe Vince didn't like it or something, or it just got cut for time. I don't even know what happened, but I remember being kind of disappointed about it. But stuff like that happened all the time, which is kind of the nature of it."
Kaitlyn previously stated in another interview that winning the Divas Championship did not bring her a feeling of satisfaction. You can read more about that here.
