IMPACT started teasing former stars returning to the company on the June 2 episode of IMPACT! when they showed images and video of Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Drake Maverick, Mike & Maria Bennett, Eric Young, EC3 and more in a trailer for Slammiversary, hinting that the one or more of the recently released crop of stars might show up.
Maverick has since been removed from the latest teaser as he's re-signed with WWE.
IMPACT fed into the EC3 tease during Tuesday's episode, playing his music following the TNA World Heavyweight Title match between Moose and Hernandez.
