The February 9 episode of AEW Dynamite continues to take shape.
Over the past few weeks, Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston took turns saving the other from attacks by 2point0 and Daniel Garcia. Because of Kingston and Jericho's animosity toward one another, Santana and Ortiz were caught between their longtime friend and fellow Inner Circle member.
Jericho, who had been speaking disparagingly about Kingston, was asked to stop doing so by Santana and Ortiz before their Trios Match against Garcia and 2point0. During the bout, Jericho was frozen out by his partners as they refused to tag him into the match.
During the February 2 episode of Dynamite, Jericho said that next Wednesday there will be an Inner Circle team meeting and attendance is mandatory. He wants Santana and Ortiz to explain their actions. While he understands that Kingston is an old friend, he points out that they helped launch AEW together. According to Jericho, no one in AEW is more influential than him.
.@IAmJericho sends a clear message that attendance is mandatory for #InnerCircle's team meeting NEXT WEEK on #AEWDynamite & @Santana_Proud & @Ortiz_Powerful better be there.
