Izzy Moreno is proud to be Fightful's 'Rookie Of The Year'.
Since making her debut in August 2023, Izzy Moreno has competed in fifteen different matches against promotions like Mission Pro Wrestling, United210, and Title Match Network. Moreno even became the Mission Pro Wrestling Champion in June before the promotion went on hiatus in August.
After beating out other names like Zilla Fatu, Paul Walter Hauser, Carlee Bright, and Ulka Sasaki to win the award, Moreno issued an acceptance speech, thanking everyone at Fightful and the fans.
"Hey, Fightful BFFs! It's Izzy Moreno here, the Mission Pro Wrestling Champion and Fightful 2024 Rookie of the Year. I cannot believe those words are leaving my mouth, because I'm going to be honest, I didn't even know I was nominated. I want to start off by thanking everybody at Fightful. They've been so supportive in my career and journey. So thank you to everybody at Fightful. I also want to thank the fans, because this is a fan-voted award. You guys are literally the reason why I'm doing this. I cannot thank you guys enough for always supporting me and for being my BFFs. My rookie year in wrestling was everything I wanted, becoming the youngest ever Mission Pro Wrestling Champion, getting to share the ring with some people that I would never have thought I'd be sharing the ring with in a million years, but also, most importantly, creating BFFs. You guys truly mean the world to me. I cannot thank everybody who made this possible enough. Going into 2025, all I can say is it's going to be the biggest year of my career, so I'm super excited. Thank you so much for making me the Fightful 2024 Rookie of the Year. I love you guys."
In 2023, Fightful's 'Rookie Of The Year' award went to WWE NXT's Sol Ruca.
