Scottish pro-wrestler and former holder of the ICW Heavyweight Title, Jack Jester, was recently interviewed by the Daily Record ahead of Insane Championship Wrestling's 'Square Go' event on February 11th. This upcoming event is a big show for the promotion, as among championship and hard-hitting matches taking place, ICW will be inducting former NXT Champion, Drew McIntyre into their Hall Of Fame.

Jester eluded to McIntyre being inducted into the hall; stating that this is a big event coming up for the promotion.

“With this weekend coming up, we have Drew McIntyre going into our hall of fame too, so it’s a big weekend.”

Jester says that ICW marches to the beat of its own drum and with time, the promotion will continue to grow and like those within, Jester has high hopes for ICW.

“ICW has always been known for marching to the beat of its own drum. Because with an adult show, we can afford to take more risks than a family show and we went back to making more entertaining stuff, more character based things again. You’re trying to grow the promotion but stay true to your roots at the same time, which can be tricky." he said. “All you can do is try and stay true to who you are, but it’s no secret we had a bit of a difficult time for a part of last year. This year, it feels like it used to again and we have gone back to the roots of ICW.”

Jack Jester will be going one-on-one with former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, James Storm, at the event.
