Jack Perry teamed with Ren Narita at NJPW Sakura Genesis, losing to Jon Moxley and Shota Umino. Perry has been part of NJPW since January when he showed up at NJPW Battle in the Valley and ripped up his AEW contract. Perry claims that he asked for his release from AEW, but was denied.
Perry was back in the news this week after CM Punk's interview on the MMA Hour when he detailed the incident with Perry at AEW All In, which led to Punk being fired by AEW and Perry being suspended.
"All the amazing shit going on in the world of professional wrestling. All you motherfuckers want to keep talking about me. I'm not surprised. Mox, go ahead and do me a favor. Tell all those cowards at home I said 'what's up?'" Perry said in backstage comments at NJPW Sakura Genesis.
The Young Bucks gave Perry a shoutout on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, saying, 'Yo Scapegoat, love your work."
Perry is set to compete against Shota Umino at NJPW Windy City Riot on April 12.
