Jack Perry has a title defense set for AEW WrestleDream.
On AEW Dynamite Fifth Anniversary, Katsuyori Shibata, through his voice app, issued a challenge to Jack Perry for the AEW TNT Title, naming AEW WrestleDream on October 12th as the site.
Perry said he would think about it, before attacking Shibata and throwing him into the "Scapegoat" bus. Perry then said he accepted Shibata's challenge.

Shibata confronted Perry at AEW Collision Grand Slam after Perry was going to continue his attack on Minoru Suzuki following their match.
