Jack Perry says stay mad.
NJPW New Japan Cup 2024 marked Jack Perry's first tour with the company, and he had an eventful trip, as he joined House of Torture and defeated Shota Umino and Toru Yano. He lost to SANADA, but he finished the tour with a win alongside Ren Narita and Yujiro Takahashi, as they defeated Shota Umino, El Desperado, and Yuji Nagata.
In his post-match comments, Perry discussed his first tour in New Japan and looked forward to the future.
“First tour of Japan complete. I came here after six months off, and I beat your new ace on day one. But I understand now he has some sort of new challenge for me? Well, whatever it is, I accept. Bring whoever you want because it’s not gonna change a thing. Because I am going to continue to say whatever I want, do whatever I want, and dominate New Japan. If that upsets anybody, or anybody is mad about anything I’ve done, stay mad. Because I am way beyond the point of giving a damn," Perry said.
Shota Umino called out Jack Perry and referenced CM Punk. More information is available here.
Perry recently said that it was his world everywhere he went, and Shota Umino was lucky to be a part of it. Check out his comments here.
