Jacked Jameson Discusses Pairing With Iron Savages, Jokes That Billy Gunn Is Afraid Of Him

In December 2022, Jacked Jameson teamed with Brandon Bullock to take on Iron Savages (Boulder & Bronson).

The bout had an unfortunate ending as Jameson suffered an injury, but there turned out to be a silver living as he became aligned with the Iron Savages after the bout.

Speaking to Jeremy Lambert & Stephen Jensen on The Spotlight, Jacked Jameson discussed his pairing with The Iron Savages.

"My first match was against them, then I had two more matches against them. That led to me getting an opportunity with them. They were pretty impressed that they were kicking my ass so bad, and I kept coming back for more. They were like, 'let's see what this guy is like outside of the ring.' We started going to the gym, hanging out, lifting. It's been pretty cool, a lot of fun. Been lifting a lot of weights, eating a lot of food. You have to keep them big and ready. Collision was insane, going up against The Acclaimed, one of the best tag teams in the world," said Ryan, who cornered The Iron Savages against The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) on the August 12 episode of AEW Collision.

Notably absent from the match was "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn, who has retired.

"Daddy Ass heard that I was going to be there and was like, 'let me retire so I don't have to embarrass myself.' I can't say that, he's gonna kick my ass," Jameson joked.

Jameson and the Iron Savages were back on the August 19 episode of AEW Collision, teaming to take on Bullet Club Gold (Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn & Juice Robinson).

Jameson and the Iron Savages have become staples of ROH Television.
