Jade Cargill comments on her AEW run.
From the moment she made her debut in AEW in March 2021 during the pandemic, she was position as a top player on television, teaming with Shaquille O'Neal against Cody Rhodes & Red Velvet in her debut match. Cargill was the first-ever AEW Women's Champion and held the title for more than 500 days.
Despite her dominance in the ring and undefeated record for the majority of her run, Cargill never challenged for the AEW Women's Champion.
Speaking on The Ringer's Masked Man Show, Cargill was asked if she thought AEW missed some opportunities with her now that she left and signed with WWE.
"I wish I would have worked with the amazing women who are holding the main belt. That's one of the things I really wanted to do. A couple of them reached out to me, I wish they would have had that match. I wish so as well. I could have gone on the mic with a lot of those ladies. TV time is short and we have to work with what we got. Of course, I could have had some dream matches before arriving to the grand stage," she said.
Cargill's last match took place on the September 15 episode of AEW Rampage when she lost to Kris Statlander.
Elsewhere during the interview, Cargill discussed her decision to join WWE. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
