Jake Hager technically remains undefeated in MMA, having submitted Wardlow in the second round of their "MMA fight" on AEW Dynamite.
Wardlow got the better of Hager throughout the bout, rocking him on the feet and coming close to finishing him at the end of the first round. Hager was able to survive and mount a comeback in the second, getting Wardlow to the ground and forcing him to pass out due to an arm triangle.
After the fight, bedlam happened as Shawn Spears attack Hager and Jericho attacked Wardlow. MJF would come out and get Jericho in an armbar. Dean Malenko tried to intervene but was laid out by MJF. Sammy Guevara eventually came out to force The Pinnacle to retreat.
Sometimes these things happen in AEW.
