JD McDonagh advances to the next round.
On the April 10 episode of WWE Speed, JD McDonagh defeated Axiom to advance to the next round of the WWE Speed Championship Tournament, where he will face Ricochet in a semi-final bout. McDonagh beat Axiom with a headbutt and fell onto him for the pin.
WWE Speed features matches with a three-limit time limit. The inaugural episode aired on April 3.

WWE announced that Johnny Gargano will face Angel on the April 17 episode of WWE Speed.
