Brock Lesnar first television WWE victory happened at Backlash 2002 when he defeated Jeff Hardy.
The two men haven't been in the ring with each other since 2002, and with Jeff winding his career down, he wouldn't mind being taken to Suplex City before he officially hangs up his boots.
"I forgot I was his first match in WWE. I would love to get my ass kicked by him again, maybe. He's intimidating and insanely gifted. To be as successful as he was in the MMA world is amazing. That'd be interesting. Maybe that could be my last match. I was his first match, he can be my last," said Hardy on WWE After The Bell.
Hardy has done many crazy things in his career, from jumping off staging to trying to walk across ladders. But one idea that was nixed just happened to involve Lesnar.
"There was an idea with Brock, I was going to do a Swanton to Paul Heyman and it would be over Brock, who was in the corner, and he would spear me while upside down, out of the air. I thought it was possible and with Brock, I figured he could do it. But they said, 'No, we can't try that. That's insane,'" he recalled.
Hardy went on to say that he did try the spot with Kurt Angle but it didn't go so well.
Elsewhere during the podcast, Hardy discussed reaching out to WWE the day before he was arrested in October 2019. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
