Jeff Jarrett says AEW WrestleDream was very emotional.

Speaking on My World podcast, Jeff Jarrett discussed Bryan Danielson's loss and the ensuing beatdown at AEW WrestleDream.

“I’ve never felt, because you could feel a crowd, even if they’re not yelling, it was really, really emotional. For him to be heading in there as the champion, and to go out that way, the people in the arena, I don’t think they expected him to lose under any circumstance, being that [the show] was in his backyard, and just how that last scene felt. You could feel the emotion in the arena. I can’t ever remember a pay-per-view going off the air under those circumstances. It was an emotional night. WrestleDream I think will go down in history as really a unique, different, obviously bell-to-bell incredible wrestling, but the last half hour was about as emotionally charged as you could get for me because of my attachment with Bryan. More than an emotional attachment, the respect I have for him, his career, how he’s done it, the way he’s done it, you just don’t see that in 2024. It was just really, really emotional, but man, Mox and company [are] about as established…what a statement they made. There’s no doubt about that," Jarrett said.
