Jeff Jarett says Bobby Lashley would be a great addition to the AEW roster.
Bobby Lashley is a former WWE Champion and a top free agent in wrestling. Recently, Lashley's former manager MVP appeared on AEW TV for the first time, confronting Prince Nana AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. One person who would be in favor of seeing Lashley come to AEW is Jeff Jarrett.
In a My World podcast recording before MVP's debut at AEW, Conrad Thompson asked Jeff Jarrett how he would feel about Lashley in AEW. Jarrett, who had done business with Lashley back in TNA, praised how Lashley carried himself and said he would be in favor of Lashley joining the AEW roster.
"Now, again, I'm on the outside looking in on so many things as it relates to creative and talent and all that. That would be fantastic," said Jarrett. "Bobby, in his career, has come a long way, and it goes without saying I was a huge fan of his going way back to the TNA days. We'll call it the IMPACT/Anthem days, and certainly today. But, man, he would be a fantastic addition, I'll say that. Super athletic, looks great, carries himself like a champion, and from bell to bell, he can get it done."
Bobby Lashley has previously stated that he sees AEW as a viable landing spot for him. Fightful Select previously reported that both Lashley and MVP were in contact with AEW.
