Jelly Roll made a big impression at WWE SummerSlam, delivering a chokeslam to Austin Theory in a segment that also featured Grayson Waller, R-Truth, and The Miz.
Theory previously revealed that he was the one who pitched taking the chokeslam, believing he could make it look good.
Speaking to Logan Paul on Impaulsive, Jelly Roll gave Theory credit for how it went down.
"Austin Theory is a superhero. He is a fucking hero is what he is. I’m not in the business, so I don’t have to carry kayfabe. That dude made me look like a fucking rockstar. I love that dude, and will forever. He told me that whole night, ‘I got you. Trust me.’ I sat down with R-Truth and Miz earlier in the night and was like, ‘If we do this right, we should have a top three viral moment.’ You can ask Miz, I did the work. I went back there and really got with Miz and spent some time back there. He is the fucking dude. R-Truth, too. I felt like I was in better hands than Allstate. I felt so comfortable with them," he said.
Jelly Roll noted that his chokeslam, Logan Paul's moonsault, and Roman Reigns' return were the top three most viral moments.
