Jey Uso doesn't believe he can top the energy he brought to his WWE Backlash 2024 entrance.
At WWE Backlash 2024 in Lyon, France last year, Jey Uso would challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest. However, the highlight of that night for Uso was his entrance, where Jey would garner an incredible reaction from the French crowd. At WrestleMania 41, Jey would have a larger than life entrance as he made his way through the crowd to face and defeat Gunther for the same championship.
While speaking at the post WrestleMania 41 Night One press conference, Jey spoke about the energy he received in Lyon, noting that he does not believe he could duplicate that kind of energy again.
"It was fire, wasn’t it, Uce? Hell yeah. I don’t think I can ever replicate or duplicate some Lyon, France-type energy. I wish I could have that energy every night with me, but it’s okay. I just appreciate those moments, Uce. Shoutout to Lyon, France. I think they put me on the first time I ever thought of myself as some superstar status type. I had to watch it back. I don’t like watching nothing back. It’s just a lot. Lyon, France was 100 and I think that is the best entrance in WWE, let alone with The Undertaker. Stone Cold, glass, that’s your ass. Bret Hart. Shawn Michaels. I’m just appreciating this whole ride as I slide. Yeet."
Elsewhere in his same press conference appearance, Jey welcome'd people to 'The Yeet Era'. You can read more about that here.
