Jey Uso: I Was Against Sami Zayn In The Bloodline, I Was Wrong

Following WrestleMania 38 and a loss to Johnny Knoxville, Sami Zayn was out to prove himself to the locker room.

To do so, he tried to win the heart of Roman Reigns, the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and the Tribal Chief.

Zayn's involvement with Reigns kicked off a new chapter of the Bloodline story and Zayn earned a spot as an Honorary Uso and showed on-screen chemistry with Reigns, The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso), Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, The Usos reflected on Zayn's involvement.

Jey: I was all against that. I was like, 'Him?'

Jimmy: It's the Bloodline, what are we doing here?

Jey: Him? This is the one we're going to let in the circle?

Jimmy: It worked.

Jey: I was wrong. He's low-key funny. Very witty, very smart.

Jimmy: We were cool with Sami way before this.

Jey: I just imagined him walking out with us, and when he walked out with us, it fit weirdly.

Jey: All that breaking character, all that was real. It's live. I almost started thinking, 'you're unprofessional.'

Jimmy: I would say that to him.

Jey: I was like, 'You need to tighten up.'

Jimmy: Be a professional out there.

Zayn would turn his back on the Bloodline at WWE Royal Rumble, hitting Roman Reigns with a chair.

Zayn & Kevin Owens would go on to win the Undisputed Tag Team Championships from the Usos at WrestleMania 39.

Elsewhere during the interview, The Usos discussed the possibility of facing each other one day. You can find their full comments by clicking here.
