Jim Ross On Announcing Riho's Weight: I've Got A Sheet, A**hole, It Says 98 Pounds

Since the premiere of AEW Dynamite in October 2019, very few have come under scrutiny the way Jim Ross has. Ross has often sounded like he doesn't know about the product or doesn't care about certain performers. A big contention fans have had with Ross is him referring to Riho's weight in matches.

Speaking on AEW Unrestricted, Ross addressed fans who may take issue with him mentioning Riho's weight on commentary.

Undertaker: There's Not Many People Who Omos Shouldn't Squash

"They give you information and they give you an opinion. Whether you like it or not, they give you an opinion. That's kind of what we do in AEW. I'm opinionated. People are like, 'I can't believe you're talking about Riho weighing 98 pounds. You trying to kill her?' What? I've got a sheet, asshole. It says '98 pounds' What do you want me to do? Give her a couple of pounds? She's a 100 pounder now! She had a great Thanksgiving in Tokyo! Sometimes you can't win," he said.

Elsewhere on the podcast, Ross and Tony Schiavone discussed the freedom they have on commentary, noting that Tony Khan is not in their ear. You can find their full comments by clicking here.
