Jim Ross will return to "Dark Side of the Ring."
Jim Ross has been involved with "Dark Side of the Ring" for past episodes, but previously stated that he would no longer appear on the show as he felt he was misrepresented in the edit. Things have seemingly smoothed over Ross has now revealed that he's working on a "Dark Side of the Ring" episode focused on Junkyard Dog.
"I'm going to do something with Evan (Husney) and those Dark Side guys on the Dog, talking about JYD. Of all the people living, through that entire era, I might have a unique outlook on it. We're going to record that in the next few days, talk about Dog's career, what he meant to that company, that territory, and that part of the country. I'm glad to be doing that with those guys, tell the story about the Junkyard Dog," he said on Grilling JR.
Junkyard Dog was one of the top acts in Mid South Wrestling during the early 1980s before joining WWE. He returned to the NWA in 1988.
It is unknown when "Dark Side of the Ring" season 4 will premiere. VICE TV is currently airing "Tales from the Territories," which is produced by the same team that does "Dark Side of the Ring."
