Jinder Mahal is not a fan of the Punjabi Prison matches.
At WWE Battleground 2017, Jinder Mahal (Raj Dhesi) defended his WWE Championship against Randy Orton in a Punjabi Prison match. Mahal was victorious, with help from The Greak Khali.
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Mahal reflected on the bout.
"The Punjabi Prison match sucks. It's terrible. It's so hard. The inside cage is the blue old school cage. You can hit it as hard as possible and it won't even make a noise. It's terrible. The crowd reaction. The people in the arena couldn't really see because there are two cages. It was just painful. Kendo sticks. Chairshots. Everything," he said.
The Punjabi Prison match between Mahal and Orton is last Punjabi Prison match to take place in WWE.
Elsewhere during the interview, Mahal commented on his WWE release. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
