Tessitore currently works with ABC and ESPN as a broadcaster for college football and Top Rank boxing. Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post reported that he would continue this work after he started with WWE. Glasspiegel also wrote that Tessitore would lead a three-man booth with Corey Graves and Wade Barrett, but this was not confirmed on the Countdown to WWE SummerSlam.
The moves to the commentary teams come ahead of WWE WWE SmackDown returning to USA Network on Sept 13th.
