Joe Weller is a popular YouTube star who has over five million subscribers on his channel. Weller's rise to YouTube fame happened in part due to his wrestling videos where he would do various moves in public.
Weller even recorded content with Paul Heyman, which led to a him attending WrestleMania.
Only to be kicked out.
"I went to WrestleMania. Paul Heyman was like, 'I love your videos. Come along, let's make another one. I'll get you into WrestleMania. You can stay at the WWE hotel.' Fucking Triple H kicked me out. He's like, 'Who is this fucking YouTuber?' They were so not open to the YouTube stuff back then. I think he was still wrestling. It was very much, 'Who the fuck is this YouTuber. Get distance.' There was no embracing of it back at that point. Paul Heyman got it. I often think, imagine what the social media world is doing right now, maybe if it was five years before, what could have been possible," Weller recalled on Impaulsive with Logan Paul.
Weller did not give an exact year when he attended WrestleMania.
Elsewhere during the interview, Weller commented on wanting to be wrestler. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
