Joey Ryan Details Acute Tear Of Left Pectoral Muscle; Will Require Surgery

Joey Ryan details his torn pectoral muscle.

On Nov. 8 at MLW's Fightland event, Joey Ryan revealed that he suffered a torn pectoral muscle. Ryan still worked the MLW tapings, teaming with Swoggle against The Dirty Blondes, but pulled out of his upcoming dates. Ryan went to get an MRI this past week and took to social media to reveal the results.

"The MRI revealed that I have an acute tear of the left pectoral major including a high-grade tear of the clavicular head at the myotendinous junction and a high-grade intratendinous tear of the sternal head with retraction and hemorrhage into the muscle belly. Disorganized fibers of the muscle-tendon tear identified within the deltopectoral groove.

The doctor is recommending surgery and I'm to call the surgeon Monday or Tuesday to step up an appointment to see them.

A time table on recovery will be determined by the surgeon."

Ryan was scheduled to work tonight's Joey Janela's LA Confidential event against Nick Gage. David Arquette was announced as his replacement
