John Cena sends a not-so-cryptic tweet.
Wrestling fans have not seen much of John Cena past WrestleMania this year. Cena has made just two television appearances since WrestleMania 34. He first wrestled Triple H at the Greatest Royal Rumble in April and then returned at Super Show-Down in October. He was scheduled to be at Crown Jewel in November, but pulled out of the event due to the Saudi government being tied to the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Cena has spent the majority of his year in China, filming "Project X" with Jackie Chan.
Cena is scheduled to return to the ring on Dec. 26 at Madison Square Garden. He is also being advertised for live events through the end of 2018 and into 2019. The 16-time World Champion took to social media to comment on his upcoming WWE return.
160 days ago I landed in ---- to film w @EyeOfJackieChan today is the final day of that project. An experience I’ll never forget. I’ll have 1 day home then to promote @bumblebeemovie until it’s release 12/21 then, I truly return home @WWE @TheGarden 12/26 #HLR #NeverGiveUp --
