John Cena has pretty much always had a love/hate relationship with the fans.
That "Let's Go Cena/Cena Sucks" chant is practically the soundtrack for his matches at this point.
On the internet, the "Cena Sucks" half of that chant is much louder, and comes through on message boards and Twitter and all kinds of social media. Cena notices that.
And this week, he noticed that what he was reading over social media was very different.
Normally, Cena gets mostly grief from the folks in the "IWC," but earlier this week, that shifted to mostly kind sentiments. It seems that this video might have been the catalyst for the change of heart.
But since that video came out, John Cena has encouraged the members of the crowd who would rather bounce a beach ball than give their attention to the men and women in the ring, and now there's a report floating around out there that Cena himself is responsible for killing Baron Corbin's push (Fightful will have all the details of that report when it is published). That's right, the "Cena Buries LOL" crowd is out in force, and Cena says things are back to normal.
Nice to see that the biggest star in WWE is taking the internet bullies in stride.
