WWE is reportedly hoping to have Cena compete against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam and Cena has once again stated he will return to the ring, he just doesn't know when.

"Those rumors are true. I'll definitely be back to WWE, I just don't know when," said Cena on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

When asked about his Instagram post from May where he posted the WWE logo, Cena replied, "I posted [the photo] back in May and was feeling rather nostalgic about WWE and I wanted to post the logo. Some people took it as I was returning immediately, which is not the case. I haven't had my last match and I can't wait to have my next one."

Cena is set to star in Fast & Furious 9, which comes to theaters on Friday.

While doing promotion for F9, Cena was asked by James Gunn about James Gunn, his director for Suicide Squad, and he compared Gunn to Vince McMahon. You can find Cena's comments by clicking here.
