John Cena Scheduled To Work WWE Live Events Following Christmas And Into 2019

John Cena is returning to the ring. 

According to PWInsider, John Cena will be working the following live events in December:

Jimmy Uso: If Sami Zayn Shows Up To Friday's WWE SmackDown, It's Going To Get Real Heated

Dec. 26 - Raw live event at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY.

Dec. 27 - SmackDown live event at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY.

Dec. 28 - SmackDown live event at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD.

Dec. 30 - SmackDown live event at Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL.

WWE also confirmed that Cena will work the following dates in 2019:

Jan. 4 - Columbus Civic Center in Columbus, GA

Jan. 5 - Donald L. Tucker Civic Center in Tallahassee, FL

Jan. 6 - Hertz Arena in Ft. Myers, FL.

Jan. 7 (Raw) - Amway Center in Orlando, FL

Jan. 11 - Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, WV

Jan. 12 - Knoxville Civic Coliseum, Knoxville, TN

Jan. 13 - Von Braun Civic Center in Huntsville, AL

Jan. 14 - FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN

Cena has not wrestled since WWE Super Show-Down in October. He was scheduled to appear at WWE Crown Jewel, but pulled out of the event after news broke that the Saudi government was involved in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. His last three dates have all been overseas events. These dates will be his first matches in the United States since WrestleMania 34 against the Undertaker. Cena has spent the majority of the year in China filming "Project X-traction" with Jackie Chan.

Cena's new film "Bumblebee" will hit theaters on Dec. 21. Cena stars as Agent Burns in the Transformers spin off.
