Johnny Gargano promises he'll be back at some point.
Fans haven't seen Gargano on wrestling television since December 2021 when he cut a farewell promo on NXT and was attacked by Grayson Waller. Gargano took time away from wrestling as his wife Candice LeRae was expecting. She delivered Quill in February. Outside of signings, Gargano and LeRae have continued to be away from the wrestling business.
Appearing at an Asylum Virtual signing, a fan asked Gargano if he noticed how Triple H was running WWE and bringing back former NXT talent who had been released such as Karrion Kross and Dakota Kai.
Gargano replied, "I've seen. I've noticed. It's exciting times all around. You never know what could happen. Keep watching, we're [Candice & I] going to show up at some point, wherever that may be."
Kai returned at WWE SummerSlam while Kross, joined by Scarlett, returned on WWE SmackDown.
When asked about a potential DIY reunion with Ciampa, Gargano replied, "You never know what could happen. We're living in a crazy world where anything can go down. You never know what can happen on Mondays or Fridays anymore."
Ciampa is set to challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE United States Championship on Monday's WWE Raw.
A fan then said they hope to see Gargano soon, somewhere. He commented, "I promise. We will. We'll be making some magic at some point in the future, I promise."
During Starrcast V weekend, Gargano said there were pros and cons (and Khans) to both WWE and AEW. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
Fightful will have live coverage of WWE Raw beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Monday.
