Jon Moxley's next GCW Championship defense has been made official.
On June 18, Moxley returned to GCW for the first time since WrestleMania weekend to defend his World Championship against Tony Deppen. Moxley would win the match but was confronted afterward by Blake Christian, who has been calling him out for the past couple of months.
After exchanging some words, it was revealed that the two men would face off for the GCW Championship at The People vs GCW on July 29. The event will take place following The Roast of Ric Flair at 10:30 p.m at the Nashville Fairgrounds during SummerSlam weekend.
Moxley has been GCW Champion for nearly a year, having won the title during All Out weekend in 2021.
