Jon Moxley and Pac will clash on next Wednesday's AEW Dynamite for a shot at Chris Jericho and the AEW World Title.
Both Moxley and Pac were victorious at AEW Bash at the Beach in their respective singles matches, setting up the number one contender's match. In the main event on Wednesday, Pac defeated Darby Allin, putting him away with the Black Arrow.
Earlier in the night, Moxley defeated Sammy Guevara by submission to earn his way into the number one contender's bout. Unfortunately for Moxley, his victory celebration was short-lived as The Inner Circle attacked following the bout. Moxley was not only whipped with the AEW World Title, but he was stabbed in the eye with a spike from Jericho's jacket as well.

Due to Moxley's injury, Pac declared himself the top challenger for Jericho's championship after his win over Allin, but Moxley came back to ringside, saying he would be ready to fight next week.
