Jordynne Grace was mad about her ear piercing getting ripped out again.
At NXT Battleground, TNA Knockouts World Champion Jorydnne Grace challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship. During the match, Grace's ear piercing got ripped out. This marked the second time in less than a month that it happened to Grace. She subsequently retired her ear piercings.
In an interview with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Jordynne Grace was asked about her ear piercing getting ripped out at NXT Battleground.
"It was bad. It was ripped all the way through. I’m really sad about it. They were like, ‘You’re bleeding. Are you okay?’ ‘I’m fucking fine.’ I was mad. I was mad and upset that it happened again. I wasn’t hurt or trying to stop the match, I was just pissed off. I didn’t even know there were considerations to stop the match. I would have been livid," Grace said.
Grace continued by noting that she did not know how bad it was until she got to the back. She joked that she wanted to ban fishnets after seeing her ear piercing on Perez's stocking. Grace quipped that it could be the #BanFishnets movement.
"I didn’t know how bad it was until I got to the back. They were like, ‘Dang, it’s all the way through.’ I looked in the camera and was like, ‘Man, that sucks.’ I saw it was on her stocking. It makes me want to ban fishnets. I don’t feel like I should have to stop wearing earrings. I feel like we should ban fishnets. #BanFishnets," Grace said.
During the interview, Grace also discussed the relationship between NXT and TNA. Check out her comments here.
