Josh Barnett and several MMA fighters were featured in prerecorded messages as part of a promo that aired on the June 4 broadcast of WWE NXT.
Thiago Alves, Roxanne Modafferi, Josh Barnett, and Hannah Goldy were featured in a promotional package for Shayna Baszler's NXT Underground match against Lola Vice at NXT Battleground.
These fighters have ties to the women competing in NXT Underground as Barnett helped train Baszler and Goldy was named by Lola Vice as her training partner for the upcoming fight.
Shayna Baszler also recently competed at Josh Barnett's Bloodsport during WrestleMania XL weekend. Baszler defeated TNA's Masha Slamovich.
