"Jungle Boy" Jack Perry says there will be grave consequences for Christian Cage at AEW Revolution.
On the March 3 episode of AEW Rampage, Perry discussed his upcoming match with Cage at AEW Revolution. He stated that Cage's challenge to a "fight" wasn't good enough, as he wanted to show the veteran that there were "grave consequences" for his actions. He made it clear that he wanted to "end" Cage, and there will be a hole in the ground when they clash at the pay-per-view. Perry stated that, given the way Cage likes to take shots at his late father, he'd give his rival a chance to visit his dad by putting him in the ground. The broadcast team confirmed that the two foes will face off in The Final Burial at AEW Revolution.

Perry and Cage have been feuding for a number of months. Cage had been Perry's mentor, but he turned on the young star after he and Luchasaurus lost the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the June 15 episode of AEW Dynamite in 2022. Perry then faced Cage at AEW All Out 2022, but Cage suffered an injury, and a pre-match assault by Luchasaurus helped the veteran score the win in a short match. At AEW Full Gear 2022, Perry defeated Luchasaurus in a Steel Cage Match. Cage was subsequently absent until he returned on the February 15 episode of AEW Dynamite and reignited his feud with Perry.
