Jungle Boy is back.
Fans hadn't seen Jungle Boy since he and Luchasaurus lost the AEW Tag Team Titles on the June 15 episode of AEW Dynamite in a ladder match to the Young Bucks. After the bout, Christian Cage turned on Jungle Boy, laying him out with the Killswitch and hitting him with the conchairto.
In the weeks preceding the attack, Christian took shots at Jungle Boy's family and turned Luchasaurus to be on his side.
After Christian & Luchasaurus were victorious against the Varsity Blonds (Griff Garrison & Brian Pillman Jr) on Dynamite, Jungle Boy returned with a chair in his hand. Luchasaurus initially stood in his way, but stepped aside.
Jungle Boy charged at Christian, who quickly left the ring.
