As Shibata continues his run as the Ring of Honor Pure Champion, AEW has now announced when his next title defense will take place as he faces Nick Wayne, the 18-year-old sensation, on the September 21 episode of Ring of Honor.
Also, it has been announced that Shibata will be coming to AEW WrestleDream in Seattle on October 1. The announcement was made by "The Wrestler" by way of Google Translate during the September 16 episode of AEW Saturday Collision.
