Kayden Carter: Cody Rhodes Told Me He Thinks That People Who Endure Are The People Who Are So Successful

Kayden Carter shares the best piece of advice she's received for success.

Carter has been a member of the WWE roster since signing with the company in 2018, making her WWE NXT debut in 2020. Since then, Carter has teamed up with Katana Chance and captured the NXT and main roster tag team championships.

While speaking to TSC News in a recent interview, Kayden was asked about the best piece of advice for success, with Carter revealing advice she received from Cody Rhodes on the matter.

"For me, someone told me, not someone, Cody, that's not someone, that's someone big. Cody told me he thinks that the people who endure are the people who are so successful and always do great things. I feel like enduring any kind of feeling, any kind of emotion, witnessing anything is something that you have to be strong about because you're going to go through ups and downs. I think that's what makes Katana and I so strong, is that we have had each other like as a rock for each other, and it's never been any jealousy. There's never been any animosity. We're always constantly in support of each other. That's what helps to keep our mental as strong as it possibly can be. So in order for us (to have) the success that we've had, we've had to endure so much. and it's like we sometimes thought that it would never be our time and that like we were never gonna make it or we were never good enough. But the fact that we were patient and we kept working hard led us to all the accomplishments that we had. I feel like people don't really recognize that us being the longest reigning NXT champions and being the only team to ever hold both titles is something that's a part of their history now and regardless of what we we did one thing that is successful in our minds is that that's one of our legacies. It's that no one can ever do that again unless they bring back the title or whatever but we'll always be the first. That was having patience, that was working hard, that was staying consistent and that was just really being supportive to each other and finding someone you know that can really support you and just uplift you in the times where you really feel like you're down. So like I said, success to me is just about enduring and finding the people and surrounding yourself with people that can uplift you just to always work hard, no matter how much you think it doesn't affect you. It's just like being you and staying genuine to what you do. That's that's how I feel about it."

Elsewhere in the same interview, Kayden spoke about how she wanted to be on The Four Horsewomen's journey with them. You can read more about that here.
