Kayla Braxton had no interest in replacing Samantha Irvin as a ring announcer for WWE.

Last Monday, wrestling fans were shocked to discover Samantha Irvin was leaving her position as Monday Night ring announcer for an opportunity outside of the wrestling industry. Lillian Garcia was brought in as her replacement, but there were other former ring announcers fans speculated could replace Irvin.

While speaking to Triggered Wrestling in a recent interview, Kayla Becker (previously Kayla Braxton) was asked about the possibility of replacing Samantha, with Kayla stating that she is not interested in returning to ring announcing.

"Do you know how much I hate ring announcing? Absolutely not. You know how that job is? Ring announcing is the most underrated job ever in the history of wrestling. It's so difficult. It's very stressful, and it makes your voice hoarse. So, no. I am not interested."

Becker previously ring announced for WWE across various brands in the company before becoming a backstage interviewer and kickoff show host for the promotion.

Following her WWE exit, Samantha Irvin also revealed that she wasn't a big fan of ring announcing and wanted to work in another role for WWE. You can read more about that here.
