Kayla Braxton comments on her first movie role.
On July 22nd, Kayla Becker, formerly known as Kayla Braxton, commented on being part of "Strangehold" a comedic thriller whose cast includes Ashley Benson, Jake Lacy, Justin Long, and Ron Perlman. Becker wrote that working with the group was surreal, and she had been a fan of Long for years. She stated that she dreamed of being in a movie with him, so she was excited to have that opportunity in her first movie role.

Matthew Grobar of Deadline reported more information about "Stranglehold", which is from actor-turned-filmmaker Clark Duke and Yale Productions. Becker was not named in the article, so her role in the film is unclear.
Per Grobar, the film is billed as a "Southern-fried siege, with shades of 'Dog Day Afternoon' and 'Die Hard'."
Becker left WWE following the June 28th episode of WWE SmackDown. Fightful Select reported more information about her departure.
