Kenny Omega once again, sets the record straight about him not joining the WWE.
The former IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion, Kenny Omega, had his video game streaming session recently on Twitch, via the 'Being The Elite' channel. Omega, flanked by Kota Ibushi, played some Nintendo games, while fans of Omega and video games in general tuned into the stream.
Per usual when Omega is taking questions, he is either asked why he is not in the WWE, or when he is going to be on his way to the company and "The Cleaner" was asked those very questions while on stream, and here's what he had to say:
“Going back to the last question everyone is asking, if I will go to WWE? Right now, the answer is no. I’m just having too much fun doing what I am doing. It really means a lot to me in my profession to feel like I’m making a difference. I don't want to be a robot, I don’t want to be controlled. Umm..... even though there is a lot of great talent, some of my good friends are still in WWE, I wish them all the best but to be able to tell the stories, the kind of stories I want to tell with who I believe are the greatest talents in the world, that’s most important to me right now.”
The Golden Lovers were together on stream and they will be together again in three weeks at NJPW's 'Strong Style Evolved' event, as a dream match will be taking place in the form of a tag team bout, featuring Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi vs. The Young Bucks.
