Kenny Omega might not be wrestling on Blood & Guts, but he will still fulfill his responsibilities as the AAA Mega Champion and defend his title this week.
AEW announced that Omega will defend his title against Sammy Guevara of The Inner Circle on the March 25 episode of Dynamite. This is the second match announced for Dynamite ever since the company said the Blood & Guts match will no longer happen.

This is Omega's third defense of the title that he won last year in Mexico by beating Rey Fenix. He has previously defended the title on AEW programming, beating Jack Evans on Dark last year to retain the belt and last defended it against Dragon Lee at AAA TripleMania Regia this past December.
Omega was actually supposed to defend the title against Laredo Kid at the AAA Rey De Reyes show on March 21, but the show was canceled as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
Previously announced for the next episode of Dynamite were Cody vs. Jimmy Havoc, Best Friends (Chuckie T & Trent) facing The Lucha Bros in a parking lot brawl as well as a lumberjack match between Luchasaurus and Wardlow and lastly, a confrontation between Matt Hardy and Chris Jericho. Fightful will have live coverage of Dynamite.
