Kenny Omega reacts.
On the March 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) made some major changes to The Elite. They noted that Kenny Omega had missed his dates in recent months for no good reason, so as far as his association with The Elite went, he was fired. In actuality, Omega has been sidelined since December with diverticulitis, and Tony Khan has said he was really sick.
The Young Bucks also announced that "Hangman" Adam Page had been suspended from The Elite after he attacked referees at AEW Revolution. Kazuchika Okada then came out, and they revealed that he was their newest member of The Elite.
After the show, Kenny Omega took to Twitter/X to seemingly share his reaction to the situation.

Tony Khan recently said that it would be unfair to expect Omega to get cleared in time for AEW's return to Canada. Check out his comments here. As of this writing, there is no word on when Kenny Omega will return to AEW.
